I’m not receiving messages or notifications on the app

If the school have sent out a message but you haven’t been notified there a couple of things you can do:

If the message is within your app, but you didn’t receive a notification then it’s likely this is down to your phone settings.

  1. Go into your phone Settings
  2. Check that you have notifications for Parentapps Connect switched on.
  3. To find instructions on how to do this, please refer to your phone manual.

If the letter isn’t showing within your app at all, it’s likely the school hasn’t included you in the distribution list for that specific message. Please contact the school and have them check this.

If your app is crashing when trying to view a message, please ensure you have the latest update.
